Massive thanks to everyone who attended the second sold out South East Soul Festival at Garon Park Southend on Sea on Bank Holiday Saturday 25th May 2019. Everyone’s support is very much appreciated, and we are pleased the event was such a success with some great feedback.

South East Soul Festival has quickly become the biggest celebration of Soul and Funk music in the South East with performances from some of the most iconic stars in the scene.

South East Soul Festival 2018 featured TV and radio superstar Trevor Nelson and his Soul Nation brandwith live performances from Acid Jazz, Funk & Soul legends Brand New Heavies and Acid Jazz icons Incognito plus DJ sets from Trevor Nelson and Ronnie Herel . With DJ sets from Good Times pioneer Norman Jay MBE, Bigger, Flip and Roger Johnson in Arena 2.

South East Soul Festival 2019 featured one of the most successful Soul groups of all time, Shalamarwhich included three dynamic individuals: Jeffrey Daniel, Howard Hewett and Carolyn Griffey. Other unforgettable live performances on the day included Odyssey, Light of the World, Natasha Watts & more!

The 2020 edition is set to be even bigger & better with Soul II Soul announced as the headliners plus the return of the much loved soul, rare groove and jazz stage 2.
